what do the following names stand for?

I want to know what the following names are for
cis_inf_tacticaldroid.req (only found a req file for it in the CIS folder)
rep_fly_vtrans.req (only a req file for it in the REP folder)
imp_droid_probe.odf (an odf file exists, and is mentioned in the hoth lua, but I don't understand what purpose it serves)
all_droid_r2d2.odf (this is R2D2 but what does it do?)
com_item_vehiclepad (is that the same thing as vehiclespawn)
whatever the SNW side folder is for.
Does anyone know what these are?

rep_fly_vtrans is probably a transport of some kind, gunship maybe? (in bf2 it has imp_trans which is the landing cruiser in one of the missions)
imp_droid_probe, there is already a shipped probe droid in the game but I've never seen it ingame.
com_item_vehiclepad, I don't think its for spawning, otherwise it would be vehicle_spawn.
all_droid_r2d2 must a be a droid (obviously lol). I dunno about that one.
and open up the tacticledroid req and see what files it uses.

just figured out that imp_droid_probe=probe droid (silly me).
vtrans is still an unknown phenomenon

So yeah, the SNW is probably the "snow" side folder. Try to look in the rep_fly_vtrans.req and see which .odf and .msh files it calls for.

imp_droid_probe is the discarded Imperial Probe Droid, the large one with the many arms seen in Empire Strikes Back. Apparently it was to be a native side assisting the Empire on Hoth.
cis_inf_tacticaldroid is the discarded IG Droid. It was to be the commander unit for the CIS side but it got cut alongside the other sixth units of each faction (Imperial Officer, Bothan Spy, and Clone Commander)
all_droid_r2d2 - I never found out what this is exactly for. Perhaps R2-D2 was to appear on a certain map as an extra repair droid or something? Or perhaps as a 'probe-droid'-type thing but for pilots instead.
rep_fly_vtrans - I don't know for certain but it may be related to, or was meant to be, the Command Shuttle.

I'm going to create my own tacticaldroid from scratch, since i think it uses the IG88 model in the CIS msh folder.
I found a model in someone's assets called rep_fly_vtrans. vtrans is that Blue/grey LAAT Gunship that drops AT-TEs in ep2. The problem is that the model is just model with no odf or animations In the Geonosis luas its mentioned in
--setcarrierclass "rep_fly_vtrans"
thing is, that script doesn't seem to hold any fuction whatsoever.

The LAAT/i was indeed meant to drop AT-TE's into the battlefield on Geonosis... however the code was broken during the update of the game engine from The Clone Wars to Battlefront and they never fixed it. It's only use now is as a flying vehicle.

I have the Tactical droid using an IG-88 skeleton
Weapons: DLT-20A Rifle, a Flamethrower, Melee Attack, and Wrist Rocket
Right now I'm trying to get the probe droids on hoth. problem is, that they don't crash the game, but just don't show up.
I made an odf for vtrans as just a much lighter, but faster LAAT/i Gunship
Weapons: particle cannon, proton torpedos
I have a question, what animation should I use for the vtrans i created, gunship anims or the actual vtrans animation?

I actually got the all_inf_r2d2 working during some of my early work on Ranen: Platforms. I should include it on one of my future maps...

ftw!

I just got vtrans working in my mod as a gunship. only problem is, the 3rd person view is messed up. You can't see whats in front and I'm not sure as to how I find firepoints and aimernodenames, so lasers and rocket fire from an invisible gun about 5 feet under the ship. (?)
Seats: 3
weaponry (new):
Pilot: Laser Cannon, Homing Rockets.
Co-Pilot: Beam Cannon,
Seat 3: passenger
uses the model i was talking about

ok i don't mean to double post but i have another question

SWBF's files used to be that of a different game? What game?

As I said,
Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Not scripts but I think the same models are used.
