ZeroEditor always crashes whenever I try to place tat2_fourways_roof into the world. I have the msh and odf files, so how could this have happened? :?

Idk, i've had it crash on a few objects, and had others not show up. I think mainly what will crash it is entities that weren't meant to be placed on the map in such a manner, such as effect meshes, for example. There might be related meshes that go along with the mesh you are trying to place, though I don't know if their absence would make it crash. What does the mesh look like in SWBFViewer? Does it crash that too? Some of the stuff that got shipped isn't in perfect condition.

No, it doesn't crash when I view it in the viewer. Here's a pic.

I have had similar issues..make sure you have ALL the meshes since I have a hard time keeping track of them. :)

Also, do other objects work fine?

Yes, yes they do. The only object that isn't working is tat2_fourways_roof.msh. I'm not sure if there are any other files linked to it...

That odf actually works in my zeroedit... so it could just be an issue with your odf
e.g
you edited the odf and typoed somewhere, or you somehow told it to load the wrong msh

OR:

it's just your zeroeditor....

I think it's just my zeroeditor, but here's the stuff from the ODF file:

Code: Select all

[GameObjectClass]

ClassLabel		=	"prop"
GeometryName	=	"tat2_bldg_bldg_fourways_roof.msh"

[Properties]

GeometryName	=	"tat2_bldg_bldg_fourways_roof"

FoleyFXGroup    = "stone_foley"
Doesn't look changed, so I bet it's my ZE.

*Sigh* Well, does anyone know of a roof odf/msh similar to that one?

Does the mesh file say bldg twice?
