i am really, really, really sry if this was a surprise or if this is illegal on gametoast.


i was at http://www.swbffiles.com and found this mappack!:

this work is NOT by me, it was by darth_maul(again, i apologize to you), i presume(he was the creator of 607th Rhen Var Assault).

i thought you werent working on it for awhile, darth. i guess you were busier than i thought.



anyway, those of you who have played 607th Rhen Var Assault should be a bit familiar.

No, I haven't been working on it. I did the all of these maps over spring break, and sent the pack to SWBFFiles immediately after I was done. A month later, a bunch of maps were finally put up, but the 607th Map Pack was not. I'm assuming they deleted it, so I resent the file yesterday and it came up.

Wow, I love Rhen Var and Sullust. Yavin IV however, is completely unplayable; it's so laggy! On my current settings (low), which make most maps run as smooth as rain, I get perhaps 3 frames per second. I'm not really sure what you can do about it, but I'm sure it would be an amazing map if I could run it. The other two are.

i see you have changed Zhaus's style to Aayla's style(or Ataru, dew to acrobatic movements) here are some problems:

Rhen Var:
-zhaus can be selected immediately from the roster unlike sullust and yavin
-the tank that spawns at CP 0 is ignored

Yavin:
-i think the eta-2s are ignored. they also have no sounds.

nice though, and an improvement for Rhen Var(gameplay)

if you are making a final sequel i can provide you with a great idea.

sullust is a lot better although I miss the uber chaingun that could take down droidy shields in seconds.

sry for bumping(although it hasn't been 30 days since the last post yet.) nut i saw this:

how i got him like that, i had to use explosive means(i.e grenades) it blasted him in to a lie down position.

now that can give you an idea on a death anim for grievous
