When I created a side for the v-19 torrent, i can't track on, unless i am really close to the enemy ship. is there something i can do?

also, i want the rockets to look like the ones from bfx, albeit a different color. I made the rocket have a geometry, but still it looks like the normal battlefront tridroid rocket.
