I could be wrong but Lev when you said, "embedded to Battlefield 1942" don't you mean Battlefield 2?
Sweet news Bandu and awsome to see you back.

Off-topic : Yes, thanks for having reminded me that my previous Statement was somewhat "Distorted" and eventually Incoherent, but it seems that I have been slightly affected by the Electronic Arts® I have mentioned through it. Furthermore, in order to return to the Original Subject dealt with this thread, I guess that being able to download and execute the concerned Battlefield 2142 Demonstration / Preview Versions might be determined according to a System comparable to the one introduced with Valve Software® Steam, according to what Lord-Bandu stated through his above message...

This is some what old news but 4 people excited 4 Battlefield 2142 and are going to buy on the day it comes out I suggest resevering it because you get a free USB portable drive with 64MB with BAttlefield 2142 logo on it. Also in it you get a free rank up or something with a rank up.

EA/Dice have given me ,and a few others from the FirstStrike mod ,early copies of bf2142. Not the final game , tho im not sure if its the same beta that will be on Fileplanet ( I think ) for subscribers.

:)

Just awaiting an E-mail from EA/Dice for the serial key :D

I'll let you guys now what I think of it when I get to play.

*Goes off to check his email for the 500th in the last 30 mins*

Preview, more like, as he's more like a beta tester of it than anything else. But, yes, I'm excited, too. :D

Off-topic : If the Previsualization Version of Battlefield 2142 Lord-Bandu will succeed in playing within a unsignificant moment is comparable to the one which will become available towards FilePlanet© Subscribers and Privileged Members, then I do not think this same Electronic Arts® Product could be considered as having to be checked out and tested by picked up Users, and anyway, what has been called "BETA Testers" is actually way more fitting the Specificities of an apart Job than those of a person having voluntarily chosen to give this Entertainment Design an Overall Shot...

I actually have a question about that. DId they make you a download, or did they actually mailed you a DVD/CD?

Woohoo! got my email off EA/Dice and downloading now :D

The only problem is ..due to me being 1 of the 1st people to play BF2142 I am not allowed to talk about it on a public forum .

However , if you would like a chat about erm... stuff , you can add me to xfire ... 'fsbandu' ;)

 Lucky you Bandu! The Battlefield 2142 Demo is going to be coming to FilePlanet soon but you have to be a subscriber to download it :(.

You lucky!!! Hmmm are you allowed to say one liners about the game like amazing! or something like that? Rekubot don't worry they as in EA/Dice are releasing the demo 10 days before its release.
Release date - Oct 10th
Demo release date - either Sept 30th or Oct 1st.

What about screens? That's not talking, unless you go with the saying a picuture is worth a 1000 words. I'm just wondering. Good 4 you Bandu.

EDIT: Check out the first article.

Off-topic : Basically to ensure not that Sensible Informations regarding the Electronic Arts® Product currently owned and tried out by this dear Lord-Bandu might be provided through Electronic Communication Means, I would equally unadvise you to supply this sort of Precise Details through an Instant Messaging Network like Xfire©'s, especially when we all know Tracks of past Conversations may be kept amongst other Elements hosted on the implicated Servers. Above all, I have not forgotten that having a look at these same Reports is usually at the very least uncommon, but be sure such Checking Outs have already been led and held for a significant time with regards to the Datas and Resources exchanged thanks to Microsoft® Windows Live Messenger, for example. Incidentally, I would want you to avoid ignoring this Possibility, while precising that you are nevertheless free of behaving as you would wish around the Online Locations you may frequent...

lol Lev,

They havent gagged me  . They just dont want it to be talked about on a public forum due to it being invite only. They want all info/views/bugs concentrated on their 'secret' forum.

which is not so secret anymore :D

The fact that it exist is no secret, but the location, adress, and other stuff on the forums would still be a secret.

Off-topic : Do not forget that my above message was primarily intended to be perceived as a simple Advice rather than a Regular Warning, Lord-Bandu, and if I have chosen to talk about this Restriction, be sure I have proceeded so for reasons having to be imperatively taken into account, although I prefer keeping all of them under Silence. Moreover, in order to return to the Battlefield 2142's Demonstration Variant you are currently owning, I was wondering whether you were able to repatriate and install additional Resources and Contents out from the Bulletin-Board having been apparently deployed and dedicated towards it by Electronic Arts®, as I guess making such a Location to be closed to most of the External Persons must have been picked-up because of Contents being way more important and critical than Plain Textual Documents...

I asked the ppl on gamespot if i could play with and ati radeon 9000 and they said no. Im confused

Dont always trust those guys man, I bet youll run it no prob with the 9000. Of course, BF2 was pretty selective about which cards it liked and which cards it chose to chew up and spit out, so watch your back for that but my guess is that itll be fine.
Maybe Bandu can give us more info on the specs, if anyone knows its him.

My Setup-
Intel Pentium D dual core processor
Two ATI x600's SLI linked
1 gb ram

I got no doubts that my compy can run it but just at a glance do you think ill be able to run it on high, medium, low? Ive been heavily anticipating this game so anything you can tell me no matter how undefinitive would be cool. Thanx.

BTW I have a feeling this games is gonna drop my GPA a whole point when it comes out......
