Can't Get about 1/3 of the User made maps to work

Was wondering if there is anything special that I need to do to get some of the User made maps to work. I first downloaded them all through the five map packs and then I went back and downloaded the 20 or so that were not working individually and they still do not work - the game boots me out to windows and I get a message that SW:B had a fatal error. I know that they are in the right folders and such as most of the new maps work just fine. Maps that I cannot get to run include, but are not limited to, All Rhen Var, All Tatooine, Ratooine, All Kashyyk, Mod4, Mod2, All Naboo, Trenchrun. It isn't my computer I have a brand new 3.6MB processor with all the bells and whistles.

Any tips or ideas will be appreciated!
Thanks - Ctwink

I think you do not have the 1.3 BETA Patch for SWBF. So, read this topic : Doubt on the MAPPACK???!!!

What does "Don't install so many new maps at once" mean? If I need to pull off some of the maps out of my Addon directory in order to get others to work, I would be happy to do that, however I wasn't aware that this could be an issue. Please advise. Thanks - Ctwink

Make a desktop folder to put extra mods in. It's very useful for me, because I like a lot of mod maps and sometimes I just don't have enough room for them all. I don't want to delete them to make room so I just put them in my "Extra Battlefront Mods" folder. Of course, I still delete the ones I don't like.

it MEANS, that you ONLY can have about 20 maps (somebody more, somebody less - but 20 SHOULD be a standard) in you AddOn Folder

if you have MORE maps, you got the problems you mentioned.

simply do as Era and I does - create a folder with the Downloaded maps, and then copy/paste the maps you want to play into your AddOn folder :P (but remember to delete the maps you dont want)
