I was talking to Jabba and he is making some Yuuzhan Vong models for Guru's game and BF2. He has just started on one and I have some pictures of it in Zeroeditor, anyway if we can get some of Jabba's character models (he said he may do a few) then that allows us to have more characters/heroes for the Yuuzhan Vong since we are looking at 6 regular soldiers + heroes. I also emailed the person who created the Vong model that Raingod found to see if I could have the skin for Jabba's model.

Raingod did you say that you were learning animation this semester? because we need all new animations for the Vong models.

Anyway here are some pics of a low-class vong warrior in its beginning stages:

does he ever fight? well, that'd depend on your definition of fight, but he does take part in a few battles (in particular, during the mykyr mission, which we're hoping to include in the 1st mappack)

and yeah, he does look cool in that pic...or rather, his armor does, since you don't really see him...

Trans, your website is updated with those other pages you wanted, and I edited the home page to be more user friendly for you to update. I'll have to stop working on it now, however, to pursue my own film projects and school work and the like. But if you have any questions I can still answer them. :)

Sorry i haven't around for the last week or so, school work was taking more of my time then i though it would (Had a 2640 frame 3d animation to do), this week our assign work is to build a vehicle in 3D, but i have 2 weeks to do it, so i will finish the Refugee hut this week, also will start on some of the other buildings.

why not make a vong vehicle? ;) :D

super shadowman, do you have modding experience of any sort? right now, we mostly need moddels, cuz thats the only thing we (well, some of us) can do. once the tools come out, if you want to help, you could make some of the maps. we'll also need skinning and coding. concept art's good too, if you can draw somewhat realistically (not so much stick figures, lol). not sure what you can do, but that's a list of what this mod will (hopefully) include, and thus be needed.

trans, nom anor really only picks up an amphistaff and fights when he's forced into a situation. there are a couple times when he does, but most of the time he uses trickery and "cheap" surprise weapons like the plaeryin bol. he even uses a blaster at one point.

What we need the most is probably a texturer because without one even great models won't look good without a good texture on it. Anything else that anyone wants to is fine, that just means if we had another good modeller we could have even more models. The same goes for anything else i.e. maps, although if dreadlordnyax learns to map we have to already.

We've been planning this mod for over 2 months I'm ready for the tools, the only thing that has been truly done for the mod is the CA for Ithor, ref. tent, and Jabba's Vong
(not looking at all the planning and Ideas)

So hopefully we can get this thing started soon Image
I'm so excited...and I just can't hide it!!

Well if you have a good eye maybe you could do some beta testing later but we aren't to that stage yet.

I almost forgot that we have Raingod's Victory already so I'm going to update the website anyway this is the official release of the site riiiiiight now.

http://www.njomod.co.nr It is finally done and all we have to do is update as things are made and I may add a page that talks about our team later but this is pretty much it.

btw, are you gonna remove the braces {} from the nav bar on the site? it looks kinda...awkward...

also, on the background info, you might try and include more info on fighting styles and stuff rather than society and cul ture. its a fps, not an rpg :P

btw I know what everything in the banner is except the jedi on the far right, who is that?

After reading over it I see what you mean, I'll go ahead and delete the stuff about the castes (except for the warriors) and try to add more about their weapons/fighting style. :)

btw, a little while ago i searched far and wide for vong and vong related pics, and came up with about 80. so if anyone want pics of something (njo related), ask and i'll see if i got one.
why do the japanese get all the cool covers? its not fair...

oh, and on the topic of the website, is there any particular reason the banner is right aligned? i think it would look more natural in the center or on the left...
