Waiting it out for now, myself. I'm not sure quite what I'm looking for, with already playing TOR, BF3, Legend of Zelda, and Mario Kart, but I've already put $50 in my account, and that's all I'll be putting in, so if something catches my eye, I'll know it when I see it,

Not bad sales. Nothing jumps at me. Lego batman kind of does. Psychonauts for sure. But we'll see if I end up getting it. I heard it's fantastic, but ya I'm already bogged with games. (TF2, BF3, all the ambassador games, etc. etc. etc.)

I'm thinking about getting something, since there are some good games on sale that I don't own. I'm debating between L4D2 and Portal 2. I've never tried either, so would anybody recommend one over the other?

I recommend Portal 2, it is a really good game and a must play if you have the 1st Portal.

Portal 2. Good singleplayer and amazing coop. L4D2 is good with friends, but it can be rage inducing. I have a 50% off coupon if someone wants/needs it. I have all the Valve games I want.

Thanks! I went with Portal 2. In fact, there was a sale on a Portal/Portal 2 bundle, so I got both games for about $8.75, compared to $7.50 for just Portal 2. I'd call that a good deal.

Ah well, it will be worth it even if Portal is only half as good as I heard.

If anyone here hasn't picked up L4D2, now's as great a time as ever. You can get it cheap, and by now, it comes with around a dozen campaigns without any addons. If you like it at all, it's a pretty good deal.

I picked up Modern Warfare 2 for $15, just for the singleplayer. I'm contemplating a few games, but I'm gonna wait and see if they get cheaper.

Ive got a 25% off coupon for Valve games. Problem is, I have all Valve games... So if someone plans to get a Valve game you can have it. Its only usable from Jan 2nd to March 1st though...

I know have an atari 25% off coupon now.

And I'm not sure how accurate the picture was that I saw, but if you gift games from the coal to friends they better better games, like Skyrim, Deus Ex, etc. I'll look for it again.

I'm at 9 coal and still got L4D2 and Men at War to get more from. How's everyone else enjoying the sale?

Too many college applications to enjoy a Steam Sale. I guess that's a good thing. Not spending any money.

Polycount hosted a holiday game giveaway from where I got Humble Bundle #3 and Red Faction Armageddon for free which was pretty nice.
Bought Serious Sam Gold for my friend as bday present. 4 games for 4€ is pretty nice. Got myself Serious Sam Hd double pack and Serious Sam 3... Pretty awesome games for late night sessions because you dont have to concentrate.

I love theses sales, made Santaing a lot easier.

I'll post a list of everything I got once the sale ends.

I hope AssAssCreed Brohood goes back on sale.
