Its possible to make a jet pack with wings that open/close when flying ??

Your best bet would be to create a jet effect that has the mesh you want incorporated in it. Unless you know how create effects, I'd ask in the request thread.

Ok, thanks, thats it, its possible so, i think that in my team there are people that knows about that, and some modelers too, thanks for reply...

Have a look at the geonosians, they would be a really good example of this.

You would probably need for someone to model those for you.

Well, Infinite Mods team has some modelers, and since i am the leader i could ask them if they could do it...

Honestly I don't think those wings "flap".

they must be there for aerodynamics

I mean that if there is an angle of 25º while walking, then when fliying they change to 75º.

you could slow down the flapping i suppose..

reskin the geonosian, somewhere in the odf of the wings or the geonosian might be something to do with the flapping of the geonosian's wings. You could slow this down - maybe.

Do you mean that it may move very slow while flying ??

yes, like proper wings. I'll check the odf now and report back. :clone:
EDIT2: Yep! You can change it!

I guess you change the BurstCount to something way lower. I don't know though so don't try it yet until I get some confirmation from a more advanced modder.

Actually i was thinking about some jump animation, the wings should "raise" while jumping.

And i dont know about ODFs so probably i woulld as one of our team that knows doing that

I don't know if this is possible, but a good idea.

I think it would also look good with stiff wings :D

if you want the "wings to flow up when you jump and hang when landed, have someone model it for you, but set it up like a cape, but try to make it stay stiff, so have like a cloth hinge then the wings.

Since I'm a modeler, I'll model that jetpack for you.
