SketchUp models into SWBF2 without XSI?

Hi, I was wondering how to put sketchup models like props into battlefront 2.

is it possible without xsi?

yeah, but only if you have milkshape3D, export your sketchup model as an obj, import it into MS3D, scale it down, re-UV, and export.

Also get the .dae of your model, put it in Blender, export as VRML97, then convert to .msh through the MSH Viewer.

I can only export as a "kmz" for google earth...

can you get otheer export extensions without paying $500?

Yes, via external plugins. (but there are none that export to .msh)

I can deal with a double-export, no problem.
how would one aquire the plug~ins?

Take that file, rename it to a .zip. Extract the contents, and inside you'll find the .dae.

none of the plugins are working. :x

neither the obj. exporter or a sphere plug i downlaoded.

is this another 64-bit vista thing? (i can't run python either)

i did the .zip thing. and i downloaded a .obj plug-in. but, from what i've gathered, blender runs off python, which i can't run. ( i'm almost infamous due to my python woes on another forum ;)

but i drop the obj. plug-in into the plugins folder, nothing happens in sketchup.
