I don't think the Recon helmet is that cool to be totally honest. I'll stick with my current armor, thanks.

I don't even use the helmet, it's a bullet magnet.

Meh. I only want to get the vidmasters because I liek to see teh "Achievement Unlocked" thing
I vastly prefer my current armor than recon.

...I don't agree with Bungie's decision to make the Recon armor "easily" available to the general Halo 3 population. From the beginning, Recon was this "mystical" armor of sorts, available only to those who proved themselves worthy of it by grabbing the attention of Bungie members. Now, everyone will have Recon and use it all the time, so really, I feel that it'll lose the value it once had.

Yeah, but the Vidmaster achievements SUUUUUUCK to get. It's a fitting reward in my opinion.

All except Brainpan and Classic. Brainpan was kinda boring, it was that easy, and then Classic was actually pretty fun. Until you accidentally fire a ghost laser out of habit right at the end of the level....

easily eh? Maybe for Classic and Deja vu, but endure can't be a walk in the park...

'Tis why I put "easily" in quotations. You have 7 tasks you must complete in order to unlock Recon, which is easier than doing something Bungie deems worthy of earning Recon, I think.

What achievements are actually easy to complete vary from person to person.
