Smoke Grenades in Battlefront 2?

I was screwing around in the modtools yesterday and i was wondering if there is anyway to make smoke grenades (such is in Call of Duty) that work in Battlefront 2?

you'll probably want to use the particle editor to make the smoke, but the actual odf-ing is a little fuzzy for me. You'd need to either extend how long the grenade lasts or create a dispenser that emits a smoke effect as long as it lasts. Try playing around with the odfs for the Common side grenade.

I think people did this a long time ago. The problem with them in SWBF2 is that you can still target other players inside the smoke (unless you want to mod everything to not target anything) and I think the AI just ignore the smoke too.

isn't there a lua function to have AI be affected by sight-redcuing conditions? Could it possibly be applied to effects?

I think smoke grenade still works on Multiplayer, even if you can target people through the smoke it offers some tactical advantage, I tried using the smoke effect that comes with some destroyed turrets, it has only a slight disadvantage, if you just add it to an explosion it lasts forever, I am still trying to figure if that needs to be fixed in PE and how, or in ODF, and how...

It's easily fixable in PE (or in notepad) by changing the number of particles from -1 to a positive number (like 30 or something, the higher the number the longer it lasts).
