I am realy do not like to give up, but in converting for SWBF2, I have no any success...
So, if you are realy good modder, and already done some incredible and "impossible" project for SWBF2 (like me, for SWBF1

), and wish to help me convert my Nar Shaddaa: Vertical City map, please post a reply, and I PM you a link, for assets.
If you got success in this, you should send back, converted data_018, for me to explore.
Also, I do not wish, that, you upload or share my assets, till official release, if it ever happens.

I don't own BF1 but I am experienced in SWBF2 modding (made a couple of maps, added a side and created a new game mode which a plan to release in about a week).
I do have some ideas regarding the sky file which I'd like to try.
So yeah, I'd help you
Edit: Woha, quite chaotic.
Need some time to sort this up (I still wonder why there are no layers in ZE).
Also getting a munge error which I don't understand because the file is there.
Edit2: Nvm, fixed by cleaning^^
Finally the map crashes. Got a lot of sev 3 errors in the log, even though I'm not sure if they make the map crash:
Will care about this tomorrow.
Edit 3: The game still keeps crashing. I'm about to meet some friends today so I will continue working on this tomorrow. Hopefully with good news then.

I checked out that nar shaddaa map, most impressive to say the least. Welp, looking forward to the SWBF2 version.

You have a great talent, going to keep an eye out for your stuff.

I've converted several SWBF1 maps. If Locutus has problems I will convert it for you.

Thank's

! We keep it in mind.
In SWBF1, usualy no any layers. Everything content in single files, in totaly chaotic condition. But it is how things, works in SWBF1, and this can be classificated as "normal".
SWBF2, behavior, is real mistery: in some reason this game, do not like, some of my custom and even stock props:
Some of them, stock, from assets, so, why SWBF2 crash/freeze because of them, is real mistery for me.
By the way, they will not crash the game, if you start totaly new data_map, and just put them into it. That's why, I totaly do not understand logic of this game

. Still, you can easy launch my map, if just remove all odf, from my list. Shame, without those props, my map, never be so beauty, as it was in SWBF1

.

I am sorry, I can't really get it to work
It surely wouldn't be a bad idea to hand this over to very capable hands of Teancum.

At best you could try and recreate them, which I intend to do eventually. Expect them in 2014 or so. Maybe.
Tean should be able to convert it just fine, and I really look forward to checking this out. I own SWBF1 but I usually can't be bothered with it. The controls have always felt so... wonky compared to SWBF2. Which admittedly they are still wonky, but less so.
