I have a feeling that that actually might be gameplay footage. It's the newest version of Frostbite, and we're practically in the generation of photorealistic scenes in terms of what gaming consoles and computers can run in real-time - for all we know, it's an in-game scene specifically created for the trailer.

I dunno, I think Frostbite 4 could render something like that, but they also have had like two months to work on something. They're still in the prototyping phase.

We have video of the new Frostbite engine in Battlefield 4. Trust me, that's not in-engine footage.

Been watching the BF4 pre-alpha live stream for the last few days and so far I'm really impressed. Really happy that spectator and Commander modes are back.

It looks fantastic! If only the press wasn't so awful at Battlefield, it made it almost hard to watch the streams.
