Google Sketchup Pro 7 Trial (Click)

I don't think this has been covered (just searched it).
Google Sketchup Pro 7 has an XSI export feature (File>Expert>3d Model), and this new trial version allows 8 hours total of usage, which can be split up into unlimited sessions. If you use the free Sketchup to make the models, and the trial to export them, I figure we can get a pretty big export number (assuming we export fast  ). Full XSI export, textures included.

I just wanted to give all of us Sketchupers the heads up. :)

To .xsi ? With textures? Well, that will make Sketchup models much easier to get to msh.

Thanks for the heads up Ben!

Nope, no textures, at least not for me, the .xsiftk format doesn't work well in the conversion.

I can say its easier just to use the methods described in several topics.

i had textures on my one. not sure about any other significant errors, the only thing was that the model was rotated the wrong way round.

What do you mean by no textures? I can't open up XSI at the moment for reasons I won't bother to explain, but I can see that it at least exported the texture picture file itself. And I assume you mean it exported a XSIFT file, with the extension of .xstft.
