Nice job! Is this one going to be in game to drop At-te, or a prop?

Just remember the 'carrier' entity (what they used in Lucasarts/Pandemic's Clone Wars) is broken. That means there is no way to drop off an ATTE. The BF2 engine can't do it. I've experimented with this and talked to both PAN-fnord and psych0fred. The ability to drop off vehicles was broken during the development of BF1, and was never fixed because there was never a need for it.

But aren't there ways around it? Such as have an animation for it falling when you right click or wahtever, (though the collision isn't really there, or, even, have the ATTE not -have- collision) and then have it 'respawn' in the LAAT's clutches after x long, and where the ATTE is 'dropped' a ATTE spawn point be formed, and have it spawn immediately?
Rather makeshift, but I don't see why it can't work beyond the spawn point forming, since I don't know too much about that.
Looks good, btw.

Excellent, no need for me to start my new LAAT/i now as you can make it based off this model, ask me on mSN, and ill tell ya further

What if you make the AT-TE the bombs of this vheicle, so you throw bombs but you are actually dropping AT-TEs xD

yeah i have the CW model of this ship, it can be used for nothing more than a plain old ship or a prop, it cant carry or drop atte's.

That brings up a strange image of a clone trooper calling for support, then a AT-TE drops on the droids. SMACK! hehehe

Well, if you have money to waste, might as well spend it having a good laugh

Well, I mean it couldn't be all that bad. All's ya need to do is make it so it can hover, just stay low, and drop the atte and fly off. And when it drops it, the ATTE image goes away and it could like take a while to reload and when it loads the ATTE image loads.

Well, drop it like a bomb like someone suggested. Wouldn't be impossible would it?

Actually, I had thought of this idea a few days ago. I'd be interested to see if someone could pull this off.
It'd be very useful for the entire SWBF II mapping community, or, at the least, me.
I'd use it!
The bomb idea sounds doable!

Would totally look forward to one of your maps with this in it!

well its not doable since it didnt work for SWBF1 and both games run off the same engine so its not gonna work for 2.

Err...well... I know that animation won't work. Doesn't mean we can't make up a new type of thing, like make it drop like a bomb or something. I mean, keep the ATTE on the model and when you chunk it or w/e, the model of the atte goes away, and when it loads after a while, the ATTE reappears and thus, a new ATTE is ready for deployment. Well. I just dunno, it's something someone would have to tamper with. We could work until some solution is able to be carried out. Though, it might take a while.

ok so if the collision geometry works correctly then can't we have an animation that puts the "arms" around the belly so the object is forced up with the ship?

lol, you would need TK off, other wise the AI in the ATTE would keep and fireing. the top gun would destroy the LAAT/c
