Very nice pack, Warlord. I see you made an RT-97C and a proper SE-14r. These should all come in handy, thanks!

Well I think I made my opinion on these pretty clear in the SWBF Files review of Morishim.

Lol at first glance i thought DUDE MONSTER!

Then I saw a few of the texture jobs and thought phew, ok we are all still human.

Naww j/k, dude u seriously put the stocks (and me) to shame. GOOD JOB

And on the texture comment, apparently the second screenie has a bit of a vague texture, suggest u improve on that, the rest are just beautiful (e11 with spokes ftw)

It's pretty funny really. I haven't been around for ages but apparently I am still contributing to the GT community!

I made half of those models, tho you're only using the 3rd person/LOD/lopoly versions.

I even invented the name "T-10". (I'm quite chuffed that little old me has contributed towards star wars canon - even if it is only for one person! lol )

Now, whilst Im not much of a fan of people taking other peoples work I am not really sure I want credit for my work in this instance - seeing how, as I said, you're only using the lowpoly versions - so I suppose I am posting this so that you don't take other peoples work, who may want credit or something in return, in the future.

The ones I personally modelled are:
SE14r
DLT19
T-10
MG15

I did so for the Star Wars mod "First Strike" for BF2142. I am no longer part of the First Strike Dev team, having left a few years ago, but I see other guns there which have also been taken from First Strike.

I thought about posting this in a PM to you, Warlord, but tbh I'm not really going to be around much to discuss the issue further and I personally don't really care all that much anyway. I don't think other people on GT should treat you badly either... we all make mistakes... especially when trying to impress.

There's really no need to use other peoples work. Modeling is a piece of cake. If you want to use other peoples work just ask them. The guys at First Strike are sound folks. They've given other mods permission to use their work in the past.

Bandu, I'll tell you what I told people who levied the same accusations at SWBFFiles - send me wireframes, texture maps (watermarked if necessary), whatever you need to prove your case. In the case of one person's word against another I'll need something concrete to judge on.

Ok. I've just compared a few of the texture files and he's taken parts of FS textures(tho they are at much lower rez) . I'll convert some of them into jpgs and indicate the parts. I'll send them later today (tho warlord could save both of us the time by admitting it) To be fair, quite alot of the textures in warlords mod aren't from FS but there's still enough to make the coincidences in the models more than just coincidences, tho I'll send you a few of the models at a later date.

As I've said, I don't personally care about getting credit ( I would if he had used the hipoly versions) since, well, it makes me look like a sucky modeler to have these lopoly versions, with lorez texture jobs, floating about :P tho I think he should atleast speak to those who are still part of FirstStrikemod.

It would be ideal if you could simply send screenshots of the UVs paired with a wireframe/render of the model (obviously at the LOD you think was copied) in different ports of a 3D program. If you could send the texture in its unmodified state (that is, preserved for the UVs it would use - a watermark is fine as mentioned above) that would be best, too. Thanks!
As I've said, I don't personally care about getting credit
Making sure the credit is given is only one side of the coin (it's obviously important, though); the file is supported here and hosted at SWBFFiles, and it makes us look bad if we do support a file that doesn't respect authorship or IP.
