There are a couple ways to do it, the best, and hardest way would be to create a dummy walkway, in the same place as the real one, completely transparent, then when its destroyed an animation takes the real walkway for a trip :P
if it's possible Mav will succeed

Hey Mav, I was wondering if you can put a lambda class shuttle like the one in the TIE fighter pack instead of the sentinel shuttle in dark times space endor.

Re: Collapsible gangway
This is not something I plan on putting in. I hemmed and hawed over this, but in the end having it able to change geometry like that would break the flow of the AI much more than any concern I have about being able to make the destruction look realistic.

Re: Vehicles in Space Endor
You'll see, of course, when the map is released, but for the most part Dark Times Space Endor makes no real changes to the GCW Space Endor setup. The Alliance still has Y-Wings, X-Wings, A-Wings, and B-Wings, although they are their Dark Times versions (the B-Wing is a special version made to ape the Dark Times vehicles, since there is no "Dark Times" B-Wing). The Millennium Falcon (the version from Space Anoat wave mode) is available just like the Millennium Falcon was available before - after a random amount of kills as a Rebel. The Empire still has TIE Fighters, Interceptors, and Bombers, but it does not have TIE Defenders. In place of TIE Defenders are TIE Advanceds - these were used because the TIE Advanced is a Dark Times vehicle unit (although it was only used in Space Anoat). There are no shuttles, since the original Space Endor wasn't configured for shuttles either.

Like I said, that part wasn't something I was worried about. It's completely feasible - the problem is the disruption it creates in an already-tight set of AI paths and playspace.
