When i am republic i cant spawn in the star destroyer unless there is an LAAT there. Is this on purpose?

hmmm, ok this is the trick, i have extracted all the files and everything is running smoothly and nicely as it should, but there's no sound on the fighters, nor the vehicles nor the laser shots from the vehicles and fighters.why??
haven't noticed anything else exept for all the missing sounds, exept that death region thing but i guess everyone has seen that one now...
overall great map, it sure got the adrenaline pumping when on the middle of the battlefield

Plz can u post Ep.2 Geonosis Offensive Simulator v1.7 somewhere else apart from rapidshare. It never works for me

hi just downloaded this, if you havnt already said about why the acklay fits when you have a playably acklay, and you use force sprint he does the same thing but he moves, so i dont think its fixable- map looks great cant wait to play it

Same thing as moncalamaridestroyer; I can't, and never have in any version, been able to spawn in any hangars unless a flier is up there.

I loved knowing that I just killed Obi-wan in a LAAT, I mean by "Unit 567 killed Obi-wan"

Yes, Ill be putting in flyer sounds and localizing the local names for the FINAL this weekend(Null issue).
As far as spawning in the cap ships..theres a reason for that. The bots tend to spawn there too...and it fills up too fast before they can fly out.

Same thing happens to me on most maps with flyers

stager do you remember the deathzone aboard the republic cap ship?
can you mak it alittle smaller?
because when you fly into the hangar with an LAAT(maybe because of damage or just to get more troops)
if you come too close to the deathregion you die, right, that's the trick because the LAAT have so widespread wings so they somehow touches it and result, killing everyone, that could be alittle annoying.
it's nothing big though, but it is irritating when in distress.
anyway, keep up the good work the map pwnz like it is now, but it will pwn even more when all the sounds are in!

Ill see what I can do. Ill go over everything and give it a good polish when the sounds get put in. The next release is FINAL,

Good man. You can spend months and months on one map. It's best to just finish things off at one point.

So am I the only one who noticed the crash test dummy thing in the CIS hangar?
Also stager could you slow down the ships a bit for the final?
Great Map, I cant wait to get an un-obsolete graphics card and enjoy it fully and without lag.

Umm...I wouldnt have any reason to stop the player from landing on top. They are in the atmosphere...not space. I would think you could land anywhere you wanted.

Thanks for the time you put into this Stager. You succeeded in capturing the epic battle scenario with the bonuses of spacer ships in a ground battle & the ability to play heroes as normal units. I'd like to see the latter in more maps. Some days I only get to play BF II for a few minutes and this is my first map of choice because of that. The GXL rebuild rocks. Good job.

if you ask me, this map is now VERY NEARLY completed. I totally agree that the next version should be final - there's very little left to do.
