The Star Wars: TFU demo comes out on August 21st - my 17th birthday! It's coming out on Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. There's some info on the demo in the new GTTV -

I downloaded the demo today, it was fun but short.
And even shorter if I didn't want to test all those force powers, but I guess demos are supposed to be short.
My mother stole the TV I use for my Xbox, because the other tv she always uses broke a few days ago. So I couldn't play it for long. I can only play my Xbox when she's not in the room because she apparantly hates the games I play... well just any game, she even hates it when I'm just at the Xbox Dashboard

That factory level must be made for BFII.
Even better, make BFIII using those graphics and engines.

The spoiler box is for those who don't want to know about the demo at all. I don't go into the story.
Does anyone know how to unlock the hardest difficulty setting? Is that possible in the demo?

Yeah, wasn't this demo made in January or even earlier, they just added a few graphical updates to make it presentable?
I wouldn't worry about the glitches, they've probably been fixed by now.

I played yesterday, and it was good, I played once on each difficulty and easy twice for the sandbox aspect of it. My fav thing to do is force grip-throw people into metal walls and inspect the dent they left.
It could have been better, one thing it definitely needs is to be more fluid than it is sharp in the anims, that's what euphoria is for. Oh and... I'm so making the protagonist for BF2. He may end up in my map!

It would have been cool (for us Wii-ers) if Lucasarts made a Demo through WiiWare for this game.

*Yet again curses the lack of a hard drive for Wii*
that's probably why, possibly the TFU demo is too big

Slightly under 1GB.
Apparently, there's an Easter Egg in the demo.

Yeah so I guessed it was too big, Wii's only got 88 mb of internal memory

Its not the demo itself that did it for me. Its that amazing video it keeps on showing at the main menu and when you finish it!
AMAZING.

What a coincedince. My friend just found his Commando game and we were gutting each other like heck in it.

Since my friend has access to all this behind the scenes knowledge, he told me of one of the major problems. I dont know if this has been mentioned, didnt bother going through the 20 or so pages.
When you toss a stormtrooper (for instance), he will grab onto a ground object. The ground object, lets say, is a bench. The bench is only so strong, and soon it too, flies into the air. Then, you toss another trooper. However, since the old stormy is still holding onto the bench, it is still a ground object to the game, so anyone else circulating in the air will try to grab onto it, thinking it it on the ground.

Actually, the demo is over half-a-year old, it's from January. It just had the graphics updated since then.
