And what were you expecting when you did that? What purpose do you have for this file? Are you making a custom map, mod, or what? Did you even munge? It sounds like you're using the custom ingame.lvl method:

I managed to make the lightning red but how do you change the color of com_sfx_inf_damage_electricity.fx and com_sfx_weap_emp_exp_lg.fx files?

i think you do that through the hue, saturation and probably value properties of the spawners.
