I just DLed the XSI Foundation Trial, and when i try to start it it says its being used by another program, when i go into the folder and try from there it says it can't find ilcor10.dll

I did a search for it and put it in the bin fodler and tried again and now it says that i have 0 days left of my 30 day trial >.<

restart your PC, its a glitch that sometimes happens when programs are closed improperly and it happened with a folder and i could delete it or do anything with it even though it was empty, i restarted my PC and it fixed it, you could also run in safe mode to debug whatever is wrong.

you could always try Ctrl + Alt + Delete to see what other applications may be running at the same time that could potentially be causing a conflict.

Failing that get some antivirus software

If you have no sound, that's a problem that sometimes happens with my PC. Restarting it usually fixes it. Is it possible you killed one of the svchost or waudt processes?

Edit:

Yes you need to do a complete Virus scan with the latest updates. AVG has a freeware Anti-virus program if you need one.

Ok, first of all, make your object all one (by merging all the pieces together)
2) Branch select the model (with middle click)
3) Export!

make a null and call it dummyroot and make it parent to the model by opening the explorer by hitting 8 and draging and dropping your mesh over dummyroot. to merge just select all meshes and the click on model>create>polymesh>merge and when the box opens up turn the tolerence all the way down and click on merge materials/UVs and then click on the delete button INSIDE the dialogue box to delete the input meshes. save your model, branch select dummyroot and then export.
