I'll look into who the hero is for GCW on the Rhen Var maps. If it's nobody that I put in there special it'll be Pilot Luke. I can't decide if he'll also be in Bespin Platforms Hero Assault (since there's Bespin Luke too). I'll look into a few other maps. I will reveal that the two maps that are CW only (Geonosis and Kamino) are Jedi vs Sith "All Stars" -- which is essentially some KotOR, some movie and some New Republic Jedi/Sith.
What I'll probably do is mix it up between the four skins for each map:
-Tatooine (non-jedi)
-Bespin
-Pilot
-Jedi Knight

Oh yeah, right I forgot Bespin Luke because in the mappack Jedi Luke was on platforms. Of course Bespin luke fits here too. Well Rhen Var Citadel conquest heroes in GCW are Pilot Luke against Vader in the mappack I think. I found that really good choices of yours, It was like classic starwars comics, I liked it. That's why I suggested to put Pilot luke on Assault on one of the two Rhen Vars.

This is only an idea and nothing more, but I think it'd be cool to have Galactic Marines on both Rhen Var maps. Just the trooper, rocket trooper, and sniper though. The Clone Commander could obviously use the Bacara model. Just a thought.

As you can read on the 1st page : yes. Please read previous posts before posting we all do that. I also doubt Teancum would ever release anything in a mappack that has soundbugs.

I just unvieled some new features to the staff that will be in version 2.0. I don't want to reveal anything yet as it'll spawn question after question after question, but EraOfDesann and other staff members will tell you it's worth the extra wait.

What about putting them on one of the two? I like the original BF II clones (especially the heavy trooper) too on this map. Marines are cool, but I feel like the heavy trooper fits well (resembles snowtrooper). Or what about changing the snipers and infantry to Marines and keeping the heavy trooper? The marine is pretty similar to the heavy trooper though. These are just feedback, not necessarily against the idea, just positive criticism, I like the idea, It brings variety, and variety is very important !!!

The Heavy Trooper is the Bacara model. I suggested using him as the Clone Commander.

Yes, instead of commander that would be good. Bacarra has cool looks, but I was against using the marines for 3 classes. doing so for 1 or 2 classes sounds good, but when you take 3 variety in the map would decrease severly. Maybe it would be cool to keep the rocket trooper, I realise that would make Bacara stand out less though. But he would still have his sidecolors and such...
Of course I'm only giving feedback, if more people would give their opinions on people's Ideas it would be easier for :3po: 'the maker' to conclude what the best option is to please lots of people.

mm, You've got a point there. Still I feel the heavy trooper should stay. Otherwise there could be marines on one of the two maps, having the other feature normal troops (or maybe white troops instead of 501st riflemen) ? The thing is in short resumé : I like the Idea, but I don't want to give up the normal shock troops and maybe the snipers on both maps. That's my point of view, it's just an opinion though.

-_bf1 mode will be accesible via the menus (will be called "Classic Conquest") - For those who don't know, this is Conquest without the new units.
the new units do you mean the new Recon/Commander units or do you mean the special units? (those that already was in the game Bothans,Commander, storm commander, magna guards, you know what I mean?)
last night I was playing Bespin: Platforms in XL GCW and something really weird happened...the unitcount was stuck at 450 even after I had killed almost 30 stormies it was the same...of course it´s cool with long battles but this is a little bit too much...and this happend in 3 or 4 matches...
Edit: and it would be cool if the clone commanders at all maps that have Phase II-clones would be the commander from "cloud city" but with phase II-helmets...But at snowmaps like Rhen Var it would be better to have the original commander or Bacara maybe... but if Bacara would be commander I think there should be some other Heavy trooper..
maybe the troops at Harbor could be like marines but grey instead of purple..

and on bespin cloud city in xl, that woild be like the hunt mode, just 50 points to win and 5 minutes time. you should change that to a real xl and not hunt

At this point I'm have to start cutting gametypes that aren't working well in particular maps. I need to get a lot of stuff done in one month. So I'm cutting at least these:
Bespin: Cloud City XL
Tatooine: Dune Sea CTF & 1-Flag
On a related note, I'm wondering how you all feel about something very important: Vehicle Cockpits. All the old BF1 cockpits are there for the First Person View, plus the old models have transparent glass so you can see the pilot. I can enable all cockpits, plus give some of the ships transparent cockpits (if they were present in SWBF1) with little trouble so that mappers can use them in their own maps if they choose. The A-Wing would be the only exception since I did one for SWBF1.
Before anyone asks, the following ships will never have transparent cockpits:
-Episode III Jedi Starfighter
-ARC-170
-V-Wing
-V-19 Torrent

Personally I'm not fond of 1st person view in fighters, But ocasionally I do switch to them in some maps where it's possible. Maybe in a while I'll start to fly more like that.
