[Sorry for doublepost]
Today me and Linus decided to CANCEL the MUSTAFAR map. We decided the Pandemic map was good enough, but we will do add new units etc. to the map, but we won't map a new Mustafar map.
@Rekubot:
Is it possible for you to also model an Imperial Star Destroyer (Type II, over whatever its called. The SD's in ESB

)?
A first draft website is up dudes! I'll add the forums sometime later today, cause I'm still busy doing the forums GUI.
Check it out here:

Awesome dude! I'm likin' it!
I guess I could do the ISD, but even so it would take a while. If maxloef is still around, we could ask him for his; I'm pretty sure he made one at some point.

hey, your webside is nicely done. But somehow, "Battle over Coruscant" and "Mygeeto: Fallen ruins" appear in both lists - meant to be like this ?

was that a template or html coded?

Battle of Hoth sounds:
All's I dug up was an AT-AT blast sound. I'll try to get more battle stuff, but Yahoo and Google are proving to be a pain in the butt to find more BoH sounds that I can mix into a Hoth war zone ambiance.

@Razgriz: Thanks dude but I think we have enough film dudes and editors dudes in our mod team now. But we might need some extra dudes sometime later in the project
@Protector_Pulch: The current one is based of a template because I don't have the time to make an entire new one right now, but I'm gonna do a brand new one after I finish exams.
@zaborack: Weren't you in our team already? Well if you didn't I'm gonna add you in the list
@RevanSithLord: What sounds do you still need? I might be able to get you some fighter and blaster sounds from ESB (Including BoH).
Note to the MovieFights team: Mustafar has been officialy CANCELED.

Well since Linus decided to make an entire new part into our mod, the KoToR era, we decided to promote Rekubot to a leader into our team. News about the KoToR era maps will be revealed soon, but I'm pretty sure Linus will do a great job on these maps.

shouldn't the logo for the ESB maps consist of the ESB maps?

nice, all your ideas sound great. On the part of Battles of Yavin/Endor, I would take a look at 11of3's Dogfighting Death Star map. (i can upload if you need) He did a great job at getting the fighters dogfighting, and DS surface and the Yavin Base. Anyway, check it out and maybe contact him... Might help

I strongly agree. You need ingame-footage to make clear you're doing a mod for BF II, and not a fanfilm or something. I'd recommend that you have the same motives like on the "old", "current" logo, just ingame.

I've just realised; the Galactic Marine has a big white backpack on, right? So why don't we just reskin the snowtrooper? I'm not sure how well it would turn out but it would be worth a try at least. Do any skinners want to give it a try?
@MasterSkywalker: I never got your PM

@Rekubot: Didn't get the time to send it yet

And if we would that, we would be in the same situation like we were back before the SWBFII modtools were released. And personally I got too say I don't really like all those Snowtrooper reskins.
@timusafa: Yea I know his DS map, its great

@Penguin and Protector_Pulch: It was just concept, and I already came up with a much better idea for the logo's ^^ If people agree at my 'MoviePacks' idea, then I would make a unique logo for each era, and when all maps are finished I would release all maps together, having one large logo combining elements from all the 7 parts of the saga we are dealing with (Including KoToR)
About the MoviePacks idea:
I would like to release our maps first into a mappack consisting of ONLY the fields that appeared in that movie (KoToR WON'T be released as a seperate pack), and all of these packs have there own UI. When all maps are finished and released, we will release the actual MovieFights mod, together with Linus his KoToR maps.

Yep. You're right. But as far as I remember in the scene where Mundi is shot down, they don't have them on.
Anyway, do you seriously plan to have KoTor maps as well ? Oh this pack will be gigantic. But this also brings the danger that people run away from the project, scared by the big amount of work left to be done.
I'd recommend you just finish the classics trilogy/or even only the AnH maps, release them and see how people react.
As to your mappack idea: Does this mean that you won't release the maps until the MovieFights mod and all other maps are done ? Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

I need walker sounds, more blasting, etc. Some more original trilogy blasters. Snow speeder fly-by, etc.

Well I for one am going to release my maps individually. Nor am I helping out with the KotOR era, I'm not interested in that kind of thing. I think we should release each map individually and then release it as a movie pack for those who didn't download them seperately.
Protector_Pulch wrote:Yep. You're right. But as far as I remember in the scene where Mundi is shot down, they don't have them on.
Really? I'm 99.9% certain they did. Guess I better go watch that scene again

No no, I mean releasing all maps first by movie (ex. Star Wars aka. A New Hope) and when all maps in the saga (including KoToR) maps are finished, we are gonna release ALL maps together into one large mappack, aka. the original MovieFights project.
