sure brawl was a little overhyped, but the space emissary was still cool. now halo is overhyped, people try to make it more than it is, a simple sci-fi fps. MW2 is a little overhyped, but it still looks cool dunnit?

Actually i do not watch any MW2 Walkthrought Videos. But i will watch this Part.
I only wanted to knnow because this is the only Part that was cutted out off the Geman Release. The remaining Content of the Game is the same than the US Version from what i heard.

Edit 1:
Think i buy the UK Version (Geman Subs). Not to go to kill those poor People but not to miss a complete Mission and Why you do this.Looks like you play an Agent.Cant wait to get it hopefully soon.

From the Video that Dohnutt recorded,it looks like that you dont need to kill them but you can.

Hahah, yeah, I've always noticed that everyone calls you by your full username. Probably me included.

@Alex - No, I didn't record that video, the credit goes to Thire for those.
My videos are much laggier, for whatever reason, and much lower quality.

I have finished the campaign and I can safely say... epic

Warning, end of story spoilers
Hidden/Spoiler:
The last few missions are absolutely fantastic and action packed. Running through the plane graveyard with bullets flying from every direction possible is great fun. The last boat chase is also a heck of fun and finally the last standoff between Shepard and Price is awesome, knifed him right in the eye (Probably what happens regardless of aim) but it was still crazy. Perfect ending too, injured Soap getting helped to a heli by Nikolai and Price... final words are "Da, I know a place" and the credits roll, Modern Warfare 3... here we come.
I believe Call of Duty 4 players will get a better experience out of the story than newbies but,
10/10

Yep.
Hidden/Spoiler:
Those last few levels in the game were amazing. When Roach died though, I was like: Yes! To the Chopper! Then Shepard comes out and I'm like: Hey! It's that guy! Then, he shot me........but then chasing him down as soap with a knife was freakin awsome. But watching Price take that beating was hard. That was really suspenseful with him not getting up and all. I think my favorite moment was during one of the Ramirez missions where you first step out into DC. Its so ambient at first, wounded lying around, gun shots and explosions in the distance, then you literally walk straight into hell and the first thing you see is The White House, in flames.

Totally agree, seeing Ghost(My second fave character) get shot in the head and Roach being burnt alive brought a lot of different emotions to me... which video games don't normally do to me. It made me sad that the person you play for most of the game dies, angry because I wanted to hunt down Shepard and kill him. I was also in shock because the events were so sudden. I loved the Washington DC part. Although I have never been to DC myself, seeing the Lincoln Monument war torn and the White House in flames really made me think "Wow.. this is amazing". Seeing Price getting beaten while you watch helplessly (until the knife) was brutal. I was clicking all buttons on the controller to see if I could get up and help or something similar. After you knife Shepard in the eye and Price just lies there as the background gets darker, I started to get really worried he was going to die. Just proves how much effort they put into this game as I never really express any emotion for the characters unless it is a very good and valuable game.

During the end fight with Price and Shepard, right before Price stopped Shepard ffrom shooting you, me and brother were like both sitting there like: "NO!" Then Price comes out of no where and we're both screaming: "YES!" "KILL HIM"

Fun times this game has already brought me, and I agree, not alot of times I get that connected to the characters. I think my only complaint was that this game was not as long as previous call of dutys, however I found the levels that are in it to be quite fun, and I love the quick-pace action movie feel I get when playing it.

When shepard put a bullet in your head i was WTH yet another WTH moment in the cod series. i really did not see that coming. my fave mission has got to be: snow mobiles, final mission and the gulag. OH BTW WHO HAS FOUND DUEL GLOCKS? I HAVE in the hunt for rojia and his assistan. in a house. duel glocks ftw. you have to right and left click meaning you can shoot each pistol at different time. the duel glocks are wicked. i ran through about 20 enemys with my duel glocks blazing... how do you get duel pistols in mulit? is it the bling perk?
WHAT NEXT?
from the ending....that means a codmw3? 3rd one would consist of: having a war in russia. killing makarov ect ect ect.

Anyone else notic anything? where are the russian loyalists? you know kamarov and his crew

20/10 for this game on single player. im currently re doing it with the second level then its off to do mulit or spec ops

Already played it through at recruit difficulty, played some spec-ops missions and now started the campaign at veteran difficulty.
The only thing i can complain about is the short playtime (7:35 at recruit, lets see how much it will take at veteran).

BTW, has anyone noted similarities between MW2 and The Rock movie, the Gulag level and the moment where you have to signal the bombers are almost like in the movie.

I beat it so I can talk here now. Oh and I played MW2 for 8 hours last night  Ipod and I owned (and at times, got owned) at spec ops co-op too :D
I totally agree with everything...

The most... what's the word... exhilarating? part for me was pulling the knife out of your chest. It was like "THIS IS IT I'M PRESSING F AS FAST AS I CAN BECAUSE I HATE YOU SHEPHERD AND I WANT TO SAVE SOAP"

Haha, the story was amazing, but now I have to wait for MW3. And it's even worse because when I got CoD4, MW2 was already announced (I got it this past summer) - but I have to wait extra long for MW3.

So... Who else loves the museum level? If you don't know what I mean, go to Campaign > Mission Select > Museum. Oh, and don't press the red button ;)

I shot Shepherd many, many times in that level :D

Okay, some things I didn't understand (maybe I didn't pay close enough attention to the story):
1. Why did Price launch the missile? I thought he was supposed to destroy it?
2. Shepherd killed Roach and Ghost because he wanted the intel for himself, right? Like 'cuz he's American and they're British. Correct?

I thought the game was very good. Campaign wasn't perfect (but that was probably because I played it through on Veteran my first time). Some of the levels are...ridiculously epic. I loved a lot of the levels because of the emotions it provoked in me. It was like a movie that you were a part of. I have to admit though, while the ending was quite good, it felt a smidge cheap,

I think I need someone to explain some stuff:

Spoilers:
Hidden/Spoiler:
1. Why did Price fire the missile off when he was in the sub?
2. Why could the shock wave be felt in space but not on the ground?
3. Why did Shepard betray Task Force 141?
Random thought: Was the Russian's name in CoD4 really Kamarov? That's just Makarov with the K and the M switched isn't it?

My guess is that Price shot the missle because he knew that an sizable EMP blast would cripple both
American and Russion forces on the east coast of the US.

Shepard wanted the intel for himself and killed Ghost and Roach because his goal was to start a war so that he would come out as the supreme political power in the world.

The shockwave created the bomb Price launched could very much be felt on the ground, did you not notice all the vehicles falling into the street? Or the fact that the Red Dot attachments on all the weapons weren't working anymore?
If I'm wrong on any of those answers, someone let me know and please correct me.

The intel that Ghost & Roach were sent to pick up had dirt on Sheperd. (Sheperd used Makarov to start the Russian Invasion on US soil) Although PFC Allen was "undercover" @ Airport scene, Makarov knew from the start that he was a US agent. It is implied that Sheperd "told" Makarov.
