If the turret is automatic then I should this:

While I really like the model in the first screenshot in that post, if the turret is pilotable I think it would make more sense to use the second model.
IMO, the recoilless model makes for some more exciting gameplay, since players have a chance to snipe/headshot the pilot of the turret from afar.

Yep; it doesn't make much sense for an autopiloted turret to have a seat attached to it.

...Or you could make it unpilotable and remove the seat, but that would be to much work and not really be worth it. But it would still be cool. : P

Yep, that's what I meant. Either looks good (your re-skins are incredible), but they each fit a specific function better.

Just here to say the reskin on the turrets looks fantastic, I would never have believed Alzoc 1.0 could be made better, but you're well on your way. I'll be watching this with great interest.

Hey GAB, is this map still being worked on? I play Alzoc 3 everytime I boot up good ol' BF2 and I've been anticipating 2.0 since you announced it!

Well, yes. But it is not making progress at the same rate as before. In 2013 my life changed quite a bit and now I barely and rarely have time to work on the map. It still makes progress occasionally, though...

Since the last actual update regarding this map was posted quite some time ago, I'm just passing here to inform about it's current status.

The development has been halted about one year and half ago and it is likely to remain like that for a while. As I said in my last post in this thread, my life changed a lot and now I have to dedicate my time to some other important things.

This project is not dead, very far from it. I have great things planned and want to see it released just as much as you guys, seriously. But I also want this to be released with everything it is intended to be released with. A truly final version.

So, there will be no Alzoc 3 - Blizzard 2.0 for a while, but please be patient. When I get back to work on this, I will do my best to make it worth all the wait. :wink:

That building in the middle in the screenshot - are you going to reskin it to match the other buildings/vice-versa and to reflect the environment like the other structures?

Where you spoke of the turrets, there's a building in the center of the view which seems a bit orange/brown and clean.

Oh, I see. It woudn't be a bad idea. Maybe I'll do that if I ever I get back to work on this.
