Snow going through buildings.
Hay everyone. Even though i have released my final release of my map i am actually going back in and fixing some obvius bugs. One of them is the snow.
In my map i have snow, a couple of bunkers and tunnels. My problem is the snow goes through EVERYTHING. Can anyone help me?
FYI my map is hoth: valley. Find it in the released maps and mods.
thx in advance.

uh problem. The rainshadow regions don't work. In that other thread that guarder pointed out says that rotated rainshadow regions don't work. It seems, but not sure, that the ones that i rotated don't work. Is this true? or am i just doing something wrong like adding the rainshadow regions in the req files or .lua files?

Idk about that, try deleteing them and recreating them. I had no problems with mine. But of course I diddn't need to raotate them. I know that you don't have to do any scripting to get them to work. that might be the case though, rotating shadow regions causes them to be inop. Perhaps you can just remake your terrain to emcompass the entire region. Really you shouldn't need to rotate them, just mess with the x,y and z values to get the desired size and shape them lower them to be below your terrain. Unless you have sloping tunnels or buildings that shoudln't be a problem.

yeah i know that tean. ok this is the thing. the ones that i didn't rotate (i think) actually work, but the ones i rotate don't. So this is what im gonna do. Ill just have to make a whole bunch to cover my tunnels. It really shouldn't be any problem just a pain to make so many. Oh well as long as it works.
