uh problem. The rainshadow regions don't work. In that other thread that guarder pointed out says that rotated rainshadow regions don't work. It seems, but not sure, that the ones that i rotated don't work. Is this true? or am i just doing something wrong like adding the rainshadow regions in the req files or .lua files?

Idk about that, try deleteing them and recreating them. I had no problems with mine. But of course I diddn't need to raotate them. I know that you don't have to do any scripting to get them to work. that might be the case though, rotating shadow regions causes them to be inop. Perhaps you can just remake your terrain to emcompass the entire region. Really you shouldn't need to rotate them, just mess with the x,y and z values to get the desired size and shape them lower them to be below your terrain. Unless you have sloping tunnels or buildings that shoudln't be a problem.

It actually IS a problem if you have rotated buildings or tunnels:-(

really? Cause I rotated my tunnels but not my regions and the reainshadow still worked. I just put like 15x and 5y on my region.

What i meant was that if you rotate an building or a tunnel then you wery often need to rotate the region to make it fit.

Make sure you're actually setting the TYPE of the region to rainshadow and not the NAME. The name is irrelevant.

yeah i know that tean. ok this is the thing. the ones that i didn't rotate (i think) actually work, but the ones i rotate don't. So this is what im gonna do. Ill just have to make a whole bunch to cover my tunnels. It really shouldn't be any problem just a pain to make so many. Oh well as long as it works.
