ive gotten lag maybe once in my entire time of playing. Nothing compares to the satisfaction of being able to run a game on high specs and not have it glitch at all.
Anyways back on topic, does anyone else get way annoyed when they encounter a veteran while playing the demo? cuz no matter how good you are theres really nothing you can do if some veteran gets the jump on you w/ an RPG. Of course you cant get the advanced weapons b/c you're in the demo. Way to go veteran, you're pwning all the demo noobs w/ your clearly advanced weaps, you should be proud.

Verteran = someone who has played Battlefield 2 online. And has some ranking.

The demo has left me very disappointed. Little or no sense of action, and shoddy graphics.
Oh well, I guess I expected too much from EA...

Shoddy graphics?! No offense, but this is probably one of the best looking games I've ever seen for what it is! It's great to play on a 64-player server that's completely full on Titan mode, as there's so many different roles you can play.
Has anyone else noticed the total awesomeness of the visual effects and sound effects? They're amazing! Battlefront II would be a lot better looking if we could get our hands on those

Some ranking means around 1 or more points? If that what it means.. i guess i could be a veteran

but if you notice Jabba, the points that you earn in game dont go towards advancing your rank. You will always be a lvl 1 private as long as you play on the demo. When you advance your rank you get better weaps, ect. Veterans from their previous exp. w/ BF2 get to keep their ranks (and better weapons) in BF2142

Sure, it's amazing- compared to Battlefront. Clearly, though, you've never played Battlefield 2 on 360, or well... any major PC releases recently. The graphics may be technically impressive, but I got extremely sick of the ugly brown terrain, ugly gray vehicles, and ugly gray buildings. My PC is certainly up to spec, as I was running it at full detail at 1280x1024. I have another list of complaints if you want to see them, but to be honest, I don't want to be accused of trolling.

Apparently Im the only one that cant get in a server before my connecting ot EA quits... I hate my computer :evil:
I got in once, but punkbuster booted me before I could even select any type of soldier... whats that about!?
Overall, IT LOOKS FREAKIN SWEET! I just wish It'd allowed one single player map. And I expect the "ugly brown terrain" was just they level... like geonosis aint the prettiest planet

My computer keeps on doing that, join servers that are one of the EA servers that have barely any people on it I always get through, but I have no idea why it quits and says, "connection to EA master server is lost" I also find that annoying.....>:(
