Mos Venur by Captain Mazda.

In the endless sands of the Western Dune Sea on Tatooine,
a city was recovered, buried as a result of several sand storms.
Archaelogists throughout the galaxy hurried to the wondrous site and
uncovered the port-city of Mos Venur.

Now there is conflict, the Clone Wars have ravaged the galaxy and
a large CIS regiment under the command of Count Dooku
has made its way to Mos Venur, attempting to secure the city and
use it as a tactical advantage to attack a Republic fleet near
Tatooine's orbit. The 71st Regiment under command of Anakin Skywalker
has been detached to stop the CIS plans and retake the city.
Battle ensues...

Now decades later, the Galactic Empire has been establishing a new
order throughout the Outer Rim planets. The last Rebel Alliance
battalion on Tatooine has stayed hidden in Mos Venur,

Sweet, downloading now. :)

EDIT:

Do I install it by extracting to C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\AddOn? Because that's not working for me

Extract the files to desktop and create a folder named "MVR".Next, put data and addme.script in it. Then, put it in the addon folder like normal. I'm playing now.

That's a rather long way of doing it. Just run the Zip and extract to the Addon folder. It will automatically create the MVR folder.

Ah thanks, that worked, I played the map, and it was pretty fun vehicles seem pretty balanced, infantry is pretty nice. Good job, this one is staying in my addon folder. :)

Not a bad map, Captain_Mazda. Some suggestions:

- Decrease flying vehicles speed. You move too fast through the map and it's hard to maneuver properly.
- Increase the flying vehicle height. Currently you practically have to skim the rooftops.

And uh, I think that's it! :P Overall I think it's a great map and it's pretty fun to play. You've done a good job on this one.

Oh, and also, are they new laser effects? Or is it just my untrained eye? ;)

With a decrease in flight speed, anyone will be able to just trajectorize the entire battlefield and incinerate all infantry in a matter of seconds. It takes more skill the faster they go and it's pretty fun to dogfight. Also, the AI pilots will rain down a barrage of laserfire on you if they spot you running through the streets.

Let me just say, I did a LOT of testing on this map. I found the height restrictions quite filling ;)

Mazda, could you reskin the stufffs from kamino??they dun really fit into the tatooine background...you could just make them look more ''sandish'' and give them a better colour to fit in.

I just played it, and it's an amazing map! I especially like the strategy I found ( I'll say nothing, but it involves transports) .

Wait a second, the AT-ST had sound? I tried putting in the vehicle sounds for the beta (which would've made it a final release and not a beta, lol) but failed. I started with the AT-ST.

I guess I will focus on finishing this before one last salvation attempt with Saleucami and Anor...vehicle sounds refuse to work for me though and no progress can be made since they're the only thing left to do :|
