hey guys, not much been happening on this thread lately, so I thought all u guys might want this thread about the same map. Although it mainly consists of positive comments about x-wingguy's map, he keeps it pretty well updated.

This map will be so cool! The interiors look great and so do the cockpits. It would be sweet if someone could make all the stuff for the Royal Body guards.:royal: Great job XwingGuy and may the force be with you.

If he would correct the sky dome so as it's actually like the real Battle of Endor was in the movies, then I would have to agree, but since it's just that crappy default Endor in the sky, it doesn't appeal to me all that much. I'm picky about those kinds of things. But the ship interiors and such look good. Just needs a better sky.

The space battle was 'above' the planet not 'paralell' to it.

Exactly what I'm talking about. The planet needs to be below the ships, like in Felucia. Also, the Death Star II and Star Destroyer fleet should be visible in the backround.

Guys, is it possible to just import a screeny from Ep.6? If so, I can just snap as many from the battle as u like x-wingguy. (Anything that helps)
Course, you could probably do it just as well as I could.
And Schizo, to be accurate Endor should be ether beside or in front of the battle, because the opening screen (commin outta hyperspace) puts the rebellion looking down the nose of the Deathstar II. They then turn sideways to face the incomming ISD's and Ties

i think for this map to be good is for it to discourage boarding, take away the interiors, make the sky right, make the turrets right, include the right ships and include the executor. until all of this is done this map is just a default space map with a couple of extra cruisers.

I don't really know how to fix the sky...I guess I'll need to use Corasant as a Template to get the sky on the bottm. Then find a way to overwrite the Corasant images with Endor.
Take away the interiors? Are you nuts? I worked my tail off on those!

Yeah keep the interiors, are you kidding! Even if boarding parties aren't at all practical, it would still be eficient as long as you have command posts in both the hangar and the turret room (and also freakin nice to actually have a realistic interior).

just use the default interiors, your slapped together interiors from other maps look pretty terrible using corridors from the tantive IV and all that other jumbled together stuff. this map is just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too far from the movie in any way to be the battle of endor.

Minilogoguy is kinda right...
But the interiors kinda make this map unique and such...
Maybe you could use the interiors in another map, and make this one without interiors.
