local cp

local cp

well i have a small problem some of the ai are trying to take the locals invisible cp any body know how i can stop them from knowing it's there?

Did you either add it to the .lua or not use com_bldg_invisible_controlzone?

nope didnt add it to the lua and did use com_bldg_invisible_controlzone

try using the cp odf with, it's either untakeable or uncaptureable controlzone in the title, make sure there is no caputure region
as well drop it well below ground level, 15 units below usually works that way the AI can't "see" it.

Probably a dumb question, but... Do invisible cps count towards the max of sixteen?

Ah, great. Say, can you spawn locals in without using a cp? Like, just put spawn points in or something like that? Like what is done the campaigns.

Look at how they are done in the campaigns, then copy it.

I'm not sure if you are talking about ambushes or not. At the very least, it is possible to grab units from a team and spawn them on any path node.

No, I'm trying to find a way to get around the sixteen cp limit. I have some pretty big empty places in my map, which I want to fill up with cps. But with 10 capturable ones already out, plus the four mobile and two local cps, there's no room. So I want to do away with the local cps and spawn them instead from a spawnpoint that wouldn't count towards the 16limit.

You could just set up an ambush with an ambushregion that covers the entire map. That'd spawn your locals on the game start, although I'm not sure off the top of my head if you could get a constant spawning.

Okay, I just had a great idea. What Maveritchell said gave me this, so thanks to you for this plan. But I need someone's help to set the script up for this.
Anyone really good with scripts, please pm me.
I'm not going to post my idea, as that would ruin the surprise, unless I have problems that I can't fix myself.
Just a quick question though, could it be made so that the ambush wouldn't take a cp, cause then that would be awful if it did. Lose before the battle even starts.
