Remove glow on one end of doublesaber

If i had a doublesaber, and one end was a custom saber texture with a glow, and the other one was a samurai sword, how would i get rid of the glow on the samurai sword and make it just look like metal?

thats not possible, lightsaberglow is hardcoded
