What kind of control set-up does it have?

Wiimote with a wheel (wheel not necessary), classic controler, and GC controller. I don't remember if you can use a nunchuck though.

Awesome, good to know that the wheel is unnecessary so I can play with friends who don't have one. The only games I have right now are Wii Sports, Metroid and Wario Ware but I am definitely going to get this one.

Europe gets it before America to "make-up" for Brawl's late release.

I haven't really paid any attention to it but I'll definitely be getting it since my birthday is on the 20th.

Im just glad we can use the GC controller (I hate NFS on the Wii), but I still would have bought it anyway.

Yeah, Mario Kart is amazing. I keep getting random bonuses though. I unlocked Rosalina and Birdo without having a clue what I did, as well as a freaking monster truck.

My only annoyance with it is that it's impossible to dodge blue shells and lightning. Ah well.

Actually I dodged a blue shell before in Double Dash, don't remember how though

Lol, I was looking through the Rogers' Video flyer, and saw that they had Mario Kart Wii + Extra Wheel for the same price (and yes, I know that it comes with a wheel already, so that's two wheels), so my friends and I went to pick it up.
Yeah, I totally forgot it came out on the 27th, so... that sucked , lol

It comes out tomorrow here and I will be getting it on Sat.

She was actually the first character I unlocked. Well, technically my friend unlocked her but I'm not sure what the requirements were. I'm sure I warmed it up for him.

Anyway, I was reading up on the game at wikipedia about a week ago since I hadn't paid any attention to the game's development (therefore I didn't know much about it) and I inadvertently came across the full list of characters and it hadn't even occurred to me that some of the odder ones were secret characters.

I won't spoil anything but there are at least two or three more characters that might surprise you.
