Definitely agree on the quality of the Zelda soundtracks. I've never played SSBB since I don't own a Wii, but Melee had great music so I can only assume that Brawl's would be just as good, if not better. I always liked the music for the KotOR games as well. Even though it was completely new, it still had a Star Wars feel to it. As a whole I think the first game's music was better, but the second one had some great stuff as well. I loved the Jedi theme, Dark Kreia's theme, and the Malachor battle theme (the second game has a menu where you can listen to the music, so if you don't know what tracks I'm talking about look for something in there with a similar name).

Production Quality soundtrack, one of the best ones to be seen in a mod.

Crysis, Halo, Assassin's Creed (Chase music) and World of Warcraft hold my favourite tracks.

Super Paper Mario, Halo (series), Metroid Prime games, Half Life 2, and some of Mech Warrior 4's soundtracks were awesome.

Forgot to mention Defcon, Shogun Total War and Rome Total War

I mentioned LoZ. About TP, I completely disagree with you. I think that the music in TP mostly sucked. Too depressing/annoying IMO. I think that Nintendo got lazy with the music since the whole game didn't revolve around it, unlike ALL of their other platform LoZ games. TP's music is where Nintendo started to fall in quality. After TP, they've made one good game IMO, Brawl. Every other good Wii game to me isn't Wii exclusive and is better on the other systems.

Pokemon Red and Green (Blue)/Gold and Silver, because these themes just never leave your head.

Super Mario 64/Galaxy, Bowser's Road has always been a good one, along with most of the level themes

Kirby Super Star (Ultra/DS), famous for Gourmet Race, Marx Battle, and now, Galacta Knight.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, with Gandrayda, Dark Samus Battle 1, the Title Theme and almost all of the world themes.

Halo 1-3, of course.

Last, but not least, Zero Wing. Yes, I know this game is only popular because of the badly translated opening sequence, but this is why I love its music.

In addition to all above; Kingdom Hearts 2. I can play the opening title of it on the piano (composition from kyle landry, look it up on youtube) and I must say, it's awesome.

You can play it backwards, too. There are alternate lyrics in the backwards version.

I can play this song on the piano, I find that that's pretty good. (taking in account that I've only played on the piano for 5 years)
Playing backwards seems as good as impossible.
