Great exploision. Now if only somebody made a true explosion for the SBD's wrist rocket.

i followed your tut thing but i can't get the particke editor to work it says its missing a DLL

Make a folder in the data folder called _LVL_PC.

Copy the Particle Editor.exe and common.lvl from anywhere, paste it in this folder.

Make a new folder called Munged in the _LVL_PC folder you just created.

Fill that folder with all the munged assets from your mod. Or at least the ones pertaining to effects (But I dont think you want to sort through it)

Run particle editor and open up an effect.

I'm working on that, too! Only mine will be very different - it's main function will be landing/providing a mobile command post and transportation for troops, rather than a gunship type craft. I couldn't get the aft turret to work, but the front one did under the nose of the ship - if you figure it out, then bravo! Just out of curiosity, will you be releaseing sourcefiles for this? Cause that explosion is uber! :D

MMy im trooptransport has had a bit of ann upgrade:

1 Pilot (lasers , Missles)
2 Gunner (Under Cockpit laser turret)
3 - 6 Passengers

1 Aft Auto turret

AS for the Sourcefiles
i probably wotn be releasing them until the entire mod is complete

Nice work. Have you gotten the gunship to work? I got it to have 8 passengers, but they dont show up, I tried to move the camera angles, but still, no people showed up.

Any luck?

I have the atte with like 4 passengers (easy to do more but I wanted to keep it reasonable) and the fightertank has 1 passenger slot.

sounds good.

ive been doing some effects editing. i know your way better than I am, but I am decent at doing missles and rockets. I made a few rocket trails that you will like im sure. im also trying to make some new weapons, to make better use of the left over bf1 effects, such as frag grenades. What I want to do in the end is have thermal detonators be a real thing to be reckoned with, like they should be. But they will be less common, and their place will instead be filled with things such as emp, frag, and concussion grenades. Also, im working on reverse polarity grenades, which will such any thing around it inward, then crush it. It will be most effective against droids.

Appropriate trails and glow color for republic gunship missiles would be uber.

Edit: whoops. I wonder why its so small. Well you can see it well enough I guess. You will also be able to use it on a map im about to release (though nothing in this map is verified by maxloef, in that its separate from the mod. Although if he sees something he likes clearly its open game)

very nice job maxloef, i should think your progress has come a staggeringly long way since you last contributed a screen shot to this topic. And remember, don't let people put pressure on you in this topic, you're the central figure here, not someone else... (except for your co-workers!)

hehehe im actualy still working on theed its not that easy getting allot of houses in there without making it look repetive :P
