Well, what I do is make a new layer, select the color you want, put it on the skin where you want it to be, and give the layer some tranparency, depending on how much transparency you want. Another way is to select what you want of the thing to be changed and go to adjustments > then there you have contrast and stuff like that.

i tried that, but it didnt work. i place it in the ODF, right? and for nameofdoor do i put the odf name w/ out .odf, or with it?
That code is only meant for lua scripts.
You want to change it in the odf? do this in the odf:
IsLocked = 1

the only problem i see is that it is a little too bright, apart from that as i see it it fits in
and what about that mygeeto generator from the campaign?

That's already the turbo lasers and part of the imperial engines.
I chose the Utapau generator because it's huge and it looks important. It has fantastic damage effects and creates a really nice explosion.

what about the one in the death star? the one near the command post that has some energy that powers up?
it suits the description of 'generator'

That generator is no more than 2 small rotating cylinders. The rest is just animated effects.

I added that line in the ODF, but it still doesn't work. sorry if im being annoying, if i am please let me know. BTW the utapau generator might not fit in, but a simple reskin could easily fix it. i think it should stay... and even if it doesn't fit in, this map is so uber 1337 that it wont even matter in the long run

Then you'll need to do it the hard way.
Add the SetProperty(<nameOfDoorInQuotes>, "IsLocked", 1)
for each door you want locked in ScriptPostLoad

i'd say that the reactor core should be gray/very dark, as most imperial that i have seen has been grey or completely dark, that purple light would do well if it was altered to green or to some very bright blue.
actually, most imperial reactors didn't have too much detail, most of it's mechanical was hid inside the shell, to make it look shiny and streamlined.
if you wanna consider rebel... they would have made it white, or atleast something close to make it look clean and harmonical.
Empire= very dark reactor core to make it streamlined and shiny
Rebel= quite bright to make it look clean
i ain't a picasso myself, but i just thought of regular imperial and rebel colours.
it's all up to you.
if you don't wanna completely change the colour, make it atleast alittle brighter/darker depending on what ship you work on.

Welcome to the lion's den.
I just got a brillant idea to finally get those damage regions working exactly how I want them.
Since I can't seem to work them in the lua. I think that a modified, secluded health droid could do the trick.

u also gave me an idea xwingguy what if someone could modify a jawa give it four legs vicious teeth and have it reskinned to like this animal (Its from Chronicles Of Riddick)

i love danger, some small auto turrets and something else is nothing, if i was going to protect a star destroyer, i would probably put a brigade of tanks in the thing!!!
can deal with those auto turrets, if you don't have tweaked them to a near 1 shot, one kill.
but, i don't belive even imperials would have a band of flesheating, bloodthirsty, creatures onboard unless it was secured with the firepower of half the fleet...

If I only had an AT-PT...Remember Jedi Outcast. I was running down the halls of the Doom Giver and the next thing I knew, I was face to face with an automated walker. OH ****.

They will be tweaked. Just not that strong. (At the very least, their health should go up. I mean one shot with a flechette gun = one less turret. That just ain't right.)

im a HUGE fan of space battles the only setback is the small interiors but u got that all fixed up, THIS WILL BE BEST MAP EVA(anyone notice im repeating myself, its only becuase everyone should know)
