Can someone do a re-export of the Rebel Hovernaut with some better collision? I'm in the process of updating for private AND public release, but there are sections of the it where you're stuck like two feet from it.

I did some playing with this, just the one from Fred's site, what you are running into are the spring bodies, I fooled around with sizes a bit and with these you can get closer and even on top. See if they help. Oh and you can comment or delete the other collision lines lower down those collision objects don't exist (p_cylinder1, 2 & 3). The collisions that exist on the model should be good.

AddSpringBody = "0.0 2.0 6.0 3.0"
BodySpringLength = 1.0

AddSpringBody = "-3.0 1.5 0.0 2.5"
BodySpringLength = 1.0

AddSpringBody = "3.0 1.5 0.0 2.5"
BodySpringLength = 1.0

AddSpringBody = "0.0 2.0 -14.0 3.0"
BodySpringLength = 1.0

A new request though: Can anyone scale these two objects down by 50%, strip out any "burned in" shadows and fix the one error in the screenshot (see inside the zip). Thanks much to whoever can! :runaway:

Something may be wrong with those models Tean. :? Whenever I tried converting them to obj and importing them into any of the three 3D packages I have, nothing popped up. Is there any way other to get them out of the mesh format? I think it was an error on Meshtools part.

as far as i know ultimate unwrap 3d can understand all msh.files. also, did you try swbfviewer?

Thanks for the re-upload, but I just found out that I already had the textures in my computer. (I downloaded the assets when you released them a while ago. )
About the models: For the yard model, I'm having the same problem Nasal is. The wrl to .obj method also is not working, because the textures will not show up upon import in XSI. I would have to re-UV everything.. :(
The crate is working however. I'll get that to you soon. :)

Can we drop it another 60% or so, so it's roughly human height? Thanks much! If the yard model has problems I may just use BConstructor to put it into Milkshape 3D ASCII text and then re-export to OBJ.

*EDIT*

Hmmm... It shows up as flattened in Milkshape, too. I'll just do it manually in ZE. (Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but the model has a weird center).

I have it xsi all retextured and UV fixed.
So it was a 50% then 60% scaling?

You fixed the Yard model? Great!
It was a 50% scale, then 30% for the bigger one, 20% for the smaller one.

Teancum, just looking at this, I am guessing this is supposed to sit in the ground, if so do you want a terraincutter with it as well?
