I have done this successfully before, but for whatever reason when I do everything that is necessary in order for the sky to appear, it doesn't work. I used the Kashyyk sky, took all the necessary files and put them into the world folder, got rid of the old sky folder, renamed the Kashyyk sky, munged, and then found out that there was no sky. I then did a manual clean and remunged, but that didn't work either.
What am I doing wrong? All the necessary files are there, and the new sky file is the only sky file in the world folder.

Did you rename it in your .sky file as well?RIPJimmy wrote:I used the Kashyyk sky, ..., renamed the Kashyyk sky,

I only changed the name of the file itself. I did not change anything that was actually in it.

Re: Sky won't show up
That's your problem, you don't change the name of the the worlds skydome model or it's tga textures. You only change the name in your .sky file to call for the skydome model you want to use. So just copy the contents of kas2.sky into your .sky file overwriting whats there, and don't change the name of the kas2_sky_dome.msh, or it's corresponding tga files.RIPJimmy wrote:I only changed the name of the file itself.
