I put a logo on the tga of a door (tat2_bldg_set01) and when I tried it in game, the door looked how it originally looked. Is there anywhere you have to put dc:?
Ok. I got Tatooine Mos Eisley into my ABC folder and Mos Eisley worked in game. Then under data_abc_worlds_abc_msh, I pasted a picture onto tat2_bldg_set01 in gimp. Then i munged the map, tested it out. The doors did not have the logo.MercuryNoodles wrote:Any level assets in your munged map are loaded whenever you play the map without the need for special commands. That said, what exactly did you do? For all we know, your edited asset is in the wrong folder, not yet munged, etc, etc.
I don't really get what "clean" does. I selected Worlds:ABC, Sides: EVERYTHING, and I checked common. I pressed clean in visualMuunge and then I pressed munge once it was done. It didn't work. No logo on the doors.Teancum wrote:Try to clean then then munge. Since the file is the same size the munge sometimes doesn't pick up that it's different.
There are tat2_bldg_set01_bump (black and white) , and tat2_bldg_set01_lowrez (small picture). Do I need to put the logo on all 3 of them?Xavious wrote:Look around the msh folder of the Tatooine assets; I'm pretty sure there's a different tga file in there somewhere that you need to reskin instead.
THATS what PC is for, always wondered that.Maveritchell wrote:Oh, yeah. If you have a PC folder it'll overwrite whatever's in the regular .msh folder. PC folder takes priority in a munge.
