Originally announced on their booth at Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 earlier this year, Tamashii Nations has (re)announced that their Meisho Movie Realization Ronin Boba Fett Prototype will be available at booth #3545 priced $95 and limited to two per person.

While we now look back at the LEGO Star Wars line and consider its success to be a no brainer, back in 1999 when LEGO launched it they didn't know if it was a winning gamble, or if the expense of the license and developing the initial range would further mire them in debt. As we reported back in April, our friend Shannon McRandle is in need of some financial assistance after being diagnosed with AS and Stage 3 Cancer among numerous other health issues. While we've already reported on several Star Wars exclusives for this year's San Diego Comic-Con, the official site has given a first look at items from the likes of Hallmark, Nixon, Bioworld and Her Universe among others. With news that the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive for 2017 is a BrickHeadz Spiderman/Venom and Supergirl/Martian Manhunter many are reflecting on the entire nature of the convention exclusive. For some the annual hunt for the LEGO convention exclusive is an integral part of the event while for others - mostly those who can't go in person - it is a major speed bump to maintaining a complete collection, and the latest issue of Blocks Magazine has an editorial on it reports Brick Fanatics. It's worth noting that LEGO currently has three BrickHeadz themes - DC, Marvel and Disney - and so far two of the three are being represented at SDCC. Is there room for another or would that triple the ire aimed at LEGO already?
