Looking at the auction for this large Episode I lot is not just nostalgic, its a bit sad and a true cautionary tale about living life adhering to the collect to collect mantra. First off, there are a lot of great iconic collectibles that promised us the Dark Ages were over and we'd forever bask in the light of the Force, and for those of us around in 1999, there are many pieces we've all but forgotten about that are fun to see again. Sadly, none of it is worth a fraction of what the seller is asking. We'd be interested to see what the lot would go for on an open auction. Despite how much fun it is to look at everything included in this auction, at the end of the day it is just another entry into the TRA Hall of Fame, even if we wish it weren't.

The first Star Wars collectible you can take the Gungan's head off without breaking it. Not that anyone would find pleasure in that.
